What is the age limit for the program?

Any toddlers between the ages of 9 months old and 3.5 years old are the perfect age group for the Get Wet Toddlers Swimming Program.

Do parents need to accompany the child in the pool?

Yes. The program is designed around parents helping their toddler gain confidence in the water and have fun while doing it. Get Wet is a parent-toddler program.

What if my toddler is afraid of swimming or the water?

It’s normal for toddlers to experience fear or hesitation when first introduced to swimming. We encourage gradual exposure to water, offer plenty of reassurance and praise, which is helpful for them to overcoming water anxiety.

What all should I bring for the class?

We recommend swimming costume along with swim diaper, towel, swim cap and goggles. Additionally for parents, swimming costume and cap is compulsory.

What skills will toddlers learn?

Toddlers will learn basic water safety skills like floating, kicking, reaching for the pool side. They will become more comfortable submerging their faces and blowing bubbles in the water.
